Kim Kardashian and Idol White - What's The Deal?

I was watching this video advertisement on you tube yesterday and came across Kim kardashian promoting Idol white teeth whitening pens as her secret to having whiter than white teeth. Surely this is a marketing ploy to get us to buy the product. But I have done some research into the teeth whiteners and have found it to be a popular brand, so what gives?

Besides the fact that they are popular, there are reputable idol white reviews online to get some idea as to whether they actually work. I mean how many times do you read a review only to find out, well nothing! They are basically filled out with ads promoting the product, no solid information as to whether the product works, how it works, whether it is safe to use etc.

I do like the fact that Idol white is very convenient to use. I mean, you can use it almost anywhere. They are basically teeth whitening gels that are pasted onto the teeth. They taste nice and minty and leave a generally good taste in the mouth.

I do have a feeling Kim Kardashian herself visits her dentist for a teeth whitening procedure. Most of the celebrities do and they can afford it. I personally could not afford to visit my dentist for a whitening procedure every other month. Following the celebrities can be expensive:)

I was reading a news report, can't remember where I read it but it talked about how dental teeth whitening can be dangerous over the long term. When trays or bleaching solutions are put into your mouth, there is a likelihood chance of you ingesting chemicals. Swallowing chemicals does not sound appealing but this can happen during teeth whitening procedures.

In my opinion whatever teeth whitening solution you choose, it's important to check out it's safety and what sort of results you can expect over the short and long term!
